CFI Renaissance Fair

Erica and her classmates researched someone from the Renaissance time period. After researching and writing a two page essage, the students had to be prepared to dress and talk like them. They made poster boards that gave the highlights about the person they studied. The final exhibit was the Renaissance Fair in the school gymnasium. For nearly two hours the students stood by their boards and primed to tell any interested individual about themselves (their character that is). Erica worked on the essay on her own but her dad took her shopping at the local thrift store for the royal clothes to portray Queen Mary Tudor I (aka Bloody Mary). Erica and I worked on her posterboard using my handy Cricut machine. We had a lot of fun listening to music while we cut and pasted letters onto the posterboard you see in the picture.
